These struts replace the functionality of the side straps on the original Playseat Challenge. If you find that the metal anchors on the straps dig in to your leg, makes entering/exiting difficult, or inteferes with arm movement then is the perfect solution.

Playseat Challenge: Strap Replacer Struts
Description
Once the struts are set up it allow the rig to fold/unfold just as easily as the original straps. Compatible with the Playseat Challenge and the Lock-Mod, and works especially well with the side mount for better access to your shifter & handbrake.
Removing the straps from the frame requires bending the metal anchors, damaging them in the process. This is the only modification for the PSC which is not reversible (at least not easily), so keep that in mind when purchasing.
